Design
Each Royal Botania design is based on three key elements: aesthetics, ergonomics and engineering. They determine the DNA of every single concept of our trendsetting design. Blending these ingredients together, while fine-tuning their balance, is our basic recipe to produce the best in outdoor furniture design.
With this formula, our in-house design team, led by our founder Kris Van Puyvelde, has earned international appreciation and won multiple design awards on both sides of the Atlantic.

A wave of wellness
Every so many years, Royal Botania creates a piece that is so well-designed and received, it’s instantly iconic.
Following the path of the Kokoon, the EZ, the Wave, the Surf, and the Tuskany, the Lotus is the latest stunner. Multiple teak legs sit around a central aluminium base, like rays around the sun. At the back, they form the basis on which thick comfortable foam filled sleeves are woven. The fabrics, which can be easily removed to be laundered, come in over 70 colours of fabric. And that also counts for the main cushion, resulting in thousands of possible colour combinations.
